Room 203 Welcome Week May 5th - 9th

We’re excited to welcome you to Room 203 — our new Fire in the Village ‘home room’ inside Old Central School in downtown Grand Rapids, Minnesota.

At Room 203 the coffee is always on, most events are free of charge, and anyone can experience the sweetness of just being together. Read more about this new art and community space, and visit us for gatherings or whenever our door is open!

We’ll be posting regular visiting hours soon.

This coming week, we’re celebrating our GRAND OPENING with back-to-back events transforming Room 203 in unexpected and fun ways with the help of other artists and members of our village.

Monday night Bingo Hall features celebrity guest Bingo caller Keith Secola, an Anishinaabe musical legend who grew-up here in the north country! Tuesday we turn Room 203 into a family Game Night Tournament for fun prizes, and Wednesday is Fireside Movie Night — free movie, free popcorn, 50-cent sodas and candy. Thursday Room 203 will become a Crow-aoke (Karaoke) lounge with KJ Annie Humphrey and friends.

Friday evening we wrap-up Welcome Week with our friend S. Carey who is bringing his worldwide living room tour to Grand Rapids for an intimate show in Room 203. Tickets are $30 and very limited! Join us 6-7PM for a social hour with Annie’s frybread and a mocktail bar. Seating for the show starts at 7PM.

Room 203 is an alcohol-free, all ages, wheelchair accessible art and community space where everyone is welcome. Watch our calendar and social media pages for updates, and expect the unexpected!
